Tasks that have already been accomplished or are under way:

• district planning team has been in place for about a year meeting regularly to get updates, make suggestions, and move forward in the planning stages
• operating principles for building have been developed
• other 6th grade centers have been visited and information has been collected
• goals and vision for the building have been determined
  general education program set-up has been put in place and approved
• time has been spent working closely with other 6th grade buildings from other states on the planning for Spring Creek
• 6th grade staff have developed relationships and bounded while preparing for Spring Creek
