TLC offers leadership and community service opportunities for high school students who pledge to be substance free. Meetings are student led with the officers developing an agenda and carrying out the entire meeting. Also, the students have developed and enforced an attendance policy. TLC members must participate in at least one committee:
- Elementary Visits - monthly visits to 4th grade classes in the district to present a curriculum related to being substance free
- Clowning - learn make-up and balloon animal techniques and visit nursing homes, preschools, elementary fun nights and community events
- Prevention - activities within the school and in the community at large promoting being substance free
- Homeless - activities to learn more about homelessness and provide services to people who are homeless
