Ames Middle School - 3915 Mortensen Road, Ames

School/Football/Gym - Coming in on I-35, take Hwy 30 west exit, then take Hwy 30 to South Dakota exit (3rd interchange). Turn north (right) on South Dakota; go 1/2 mile to Mortensen Road and turn east (right) and go 1/2 mile. School is located on the north side of Mortensen Road. Enter east parking lot (3rd entrance) for all athletics. The gym is located on the east end of the school.

Track - Meets are at the high school located at 20th and Ridgewood. Take the 13th Street exit west off I-35 and continue west to Grand Ave. Turn north on Grand. Go north to 20th. Turn west on 20th to the high school.

Ankeny (Northview Middle School)- 1010 NW Prairie Ridge Dr., Ankeny

School/Football/Gym/Track - Coming in on I-35, take exit 91 which is First Street. Go west on First Street to 5th set of traffic lights. This is the intersection with NW Ash (the Ankeny water tower is right there). Go north on Ash until the intersection with NW 9th (Prairie Ridge). Turn to the west and into the school parking entrance. For football and track park the bus adjacent to the track. For indoor events let the students off at the SE building entrance and then park in the adjacent lot.

Fort Dodge (Phillips Middle School) - 1015 5th Ave. N, Fort Dodge

School/Footba1l/Gym - Coming in from the north or south, take Hwy. 20 exit off I-35 and follow to Fort Dodge/Coalville exit. Go north to old Hwy. 20 (T-intersection). Turn left and go west approximately three miles to 12th Street (4 way stop). Turn north and go six blocks to 4th Ave. Turn left (west) one block to the school.

Track/Stadium - Same as above, except when you turn left (west) on old Hwy. 20 proceed to County P-63 (K-Mart corner). Turn right (north) and go to T-intersection. Turn left (west) and continue one half mile to the high school on the left. The stadium is three more blocks on the right.

Indianola Middle School - 403 S 15th St., Indianola

School/Football/Gym - Coming from the north on Hwy. 65/69, go to the intersection of Hwy. 92. Turn east on 92 to the 15th Street intersection (about a mile-it is the first stoplight). Turn south to the middle school. Coming from the east on 92, turn south at the 15th Street stoplight to get to the school. Coming from the west on Hwy. 92, turn south at the 15th Street stoplight to get to the school. Teams should enter the building on the east side. Bus parking is in the lot on the east side of the gym.

Track - At Simpson College. Take US-65 S/US-69 S (exit 70A) toward Indianola. Approximately 10 miles. Turn right onto E Girard Ave. Turn Left onto North C Street.

Johnston Schools

Middle School 8/9 School - 6207 NW 62 Ave.
Coming in on I-80, take the Merle Hay Road exit. Go north on Merle Hay Road into Johnston to NW 62nd Ave. Turn left (west) and go about 4 blocks. The school is on the north side of the street. The track area is just west of the school.

Summit 6/7 School - 9500 Windsor Pkwy. (swimming pool located at this school)
Interstate 80 West to 86th Street. Turn north on 86th Street. Go to Windsor Pkwy and turn west. Go about a 3/4 of a mile and you will see the school.

Beaver Creek Elementary - 8701 Lyndhurst Dr.
Interstate 80 West to the Merle Hay exit. Turn north or right at Merle Hay. Stay on Merle Hay road for approximately two miles and turn west or left on NW 62 Avenue (Walgreens is on the corner) and go past the High School and Middle School for approximately one mile to the corner of NW 62 and NW 86 (John Deere Credit is on the corner) and turn right or north. Beaver Creek is a short distance on the west side of NW 86th.

Horizon Elementary - 5905 NW 100 St.
Interstate 80 West to 86th Street exit. Turn north on 86th for approximately 1 mile and turn left or west on NW 62 Avenue. Go to 100th Street and turn south.

Lawson Elementary - 5450 NW 62 Ave.
Interstate 80 West to the Merle Hay exit. Turn north or right at Merle Hay road for approximately two miles and turn east or right on NW 62 Avenue (Walgreens on the corner) and go one block to Lawson.

Wallace Elementary - 6510 NW 62 Ave.
Interstate 80 West to the Merle Hay exit. Turn north or right at Merle Hay road for approximately two miles and turn north or left on NW 62 Avenue (Walgreens on the corner). Wallace Elementary is south of the High School.

Marshalltown (Miller Middle School)- 125 S 11th St., Marshalltown

Coming in on Hwy. 30, turn north on Center Street (Hwy 14) and follow it across the railroad viaduct. Turn west on Boone Street and go west eleven blocks to South 11th St. The school is on the corner of S. 11th and Boone. Coming in on Hwy. 330, stay on 330 (Lincolnway) and follow it to South 12th St. Turn North on S. 12th and go 2 blocks. You will see the back side of the school. To find the track and Franklin Field, continue north to Main Street. Turn west on Main Street and go to 14th Street.

Parent and other spectators: The entrance to the new gym is on the southwest corner of the building. Parking is available in the lot off of W. Boone Street, right in front of the new gym. Overflow parking is available on W. Boone St. as well as in the main parking lot west of the Miller School building. Please be aware that the only entrance to the gym will be the Southwest main entrance. An admission will be charged for all events.

Bus and team directions: All buses should use the turn-around road that is north of the school. This used to be Linn Street. Buses can access this road only from 11th Street. Teams and coaches will enter the old gym doors (as in the past) and will be directed to one of the new locker rooms. Bus parking will be available on the turn-around or in the main lot west of the school. It is NOT recommended that buses try to use the parking lot in front of the new gym. Again, parents and other spectators will be denied entrance at the old gym doors and be directed to the main entrance to the new gym.

Newton (Berg Middle School) - 1900 N 5th Ave. E, Newton

School/Football/Gym - From I-80 (exit # 168) follow Northeast Beltline Road north over Hwy. 6 and turn left on N. 4th Ave. E. Go to E. 19th Street N. and turn right. Enter the bus entrance off 19th. Coming from the north on Hwy. 14, turn on County Road T-12. Follow T-12 to Hwy. 6 and turn right. Turn right on NE Beltline to N. 4th Ave. E. Then same as above.

Track - From I-80 take exit #164 and follow Hwy. 14 north to first stop light (S. 12th Ave. W.). Turn right and follow to stop sign. Turn left and go one block to S. 11th Ave. W. Turn right and follow it to the stadium. From Hwy. 14 north, follow it south to the second set of lights. Turn left and follow S. 12th Ave. W. to stop sign. Then same as from I-80.

Southeast Polk Junior High School - 8031 NE University Ave., Pleasant Hill

School/Football/Gym/Track - The school is located on the Southeast Polk High School complex, on the south side of Hwy. 163 between Des Moines and Prairie City. Coming from I-35/I-235, take the East University exit and go east on University (Hwy. 163 East) about six miles. From I-80, take exit 141 south to Hwy 163/Pleasant Hill Exit. Turn left or east on to Hwy. 163 and go about 5 miles to SEP complex. Turn right onto NE 80th Street. Go approx 1/8 mile and turn left into Jr. High. (Across the street from the new high school)

Urbandale Middle School - 7101 Aurora Ave., Urbandale

School/Gym - Coming from the south, take the Douglas exit off I-35 and travel east on Douglas to 86th Street. Turn north and go to Aurora Ave. Turn east and follow it one half mile. The school is on the north side of the street. From I-80, take Merle Hay Exit south to Aurora Ave. (at Bob Brown Chevrolet). Turn right or west to Middle School which is west of high school.

Football/Track - This area is located three blocks east of the middle school, also on the north side of the street. Coming from the north, take the Merle Hay Road exit off I-80 and go south to Aurora. The football/track area will be on the corner of 70th and Aurora with the middle school three blocks west.

Waukee Schools

Waukee Middle School - 905 Warrior Lane, Waukee
School/Gym - To reach the WMS gym, cross Ashworth Rd. and turn left into the school parking lot.

Football/Track - Take I-80W/35S to Hickman Rd. exit. Go west on Hickman (Highway 6) to Warrior Lane. Turn south (left) on Warrior Lane (Waukee State Bank). Turn left on Ashworth Rd. to reach the football field.

Waukee Elementary School - 400 Locust St., Waukee
Take I-80 West to Hickman Road and take a right off the exit. Take a left on 4th St.

West Des Moines Schools

Indian Hills Junior High - 9401 Indian Hills Dr., West Des Moines
School/Football/Gym - From I-235 take the 35th Street exit (#I) in West Des Moines. Follow 35th Street north to University and turn east. Turn north at 94th Court and follow it to the school.

Track - From I-235 take the 35th Street exit (#1) in West Des Moines. Follow 35th Street south to Woodland Ave. Turn right (west) on Woodland at Valley High School. The track is south of the school with parking west and north.

Stilwell Junior High - 1601 Vine St., West Des Moines
School/Gym -From I-235 take the 8th Street exit (#3) in West Des Moines. Go south to Grand and turn west. Go eight blocks west to Stilwell located on the south side of Grand. The gym is on the NE corner of the building. The bus can be parked just north of the gym.

Football/Track - Both are the same as the Indian Hills track directions unless the football game is at the stadium. Stadium directions - From I-235 take the 8th Street exit (#3) in West Des Moines. Go south across Grand two blocks. The stadium is on the east side of 8th Street.
