How does Infinite Campus work?

Welcome to Southeast Polk and the opportunity to access online information about your student(s). Infinite Campus is the student management program used by the district for grades K-12. It gives parents web-based access to information on their student(s) kept in the Infinite Campus system. The district provides each person a username and password, which should be changed once you log in for the first time.

To use Infinite Campus, you need a computer with Internet access. Once the school has created a portal account for you and your student(s), that account will remain active while your student remains within the district.Once logged in, parents can access:

Communication through Infinite Campus is primarily done through e-mail. Please remember to click on CHANGE CONTACT INFO once you have logged in to add your e-mail address. This will allow you to receive e-mails and notices from teachers. You may update your e-mail address as needed.

Security
Infinite Campus incorporates the highest level of security. Parents and guardians can see only information related to the students they are authorized to view through the use of strong passwords, forced password resets and session time outs.

Infinite Campus allows for districts to force strong password usage by all users including parents and guardians. This requires a password that is at least eight characters long and is case sensitive. In addition, our administrator may force users to reset their password. By default, the system will automatically end any user session that has been dormant for 60 minutes.

Five unsuccessful login attempts will disable the portal account. In order to use the portal again, parents will need to contact their school’s front office or the district registrar to have the account reactivated.
