POINSETTIAS:The Southeast Polk High School Vocal Music Department is offering Poinsettia’s for sale to decorate for our Winter Concert! Following the concert Dec. 10, you may pick up the poinsettia(s) you purchased and take them home! Simply print this form out pdf, include cash or check and send to school with your child, grandchild, sibling or friend! Support the Vocal Music Boosters and our Vocal Music Program!
SENIOR YEARBOOK PHOTOS: are due no later than Wednesday, Nov. 18. Please hand-deliver two wallet-sized color head-shot prints and the $6 processing fee to sponsor Carole Henning in room N229 at the high school. CLICK HERE pdf to get more information on specifications. If a suitable
photo is not submitted, the student's ID photos will be used. All seniors will appear in the 2010 book. Yearbook orders will be taken in early December; baby ad information will be mailed to senior parents in early January.
Senior Parents: If you missed ordering cap, gown and tassel from Josten's on Friday, October 30. Please log in to Josten's web site at www.iowagradshop.com. to order the cap, gown and tassel. Parents can order and pay on line with a credit or debit card or students may pick up a packet in the guidance office. Any questions may be directed to the Josten's office in Ankeny at 965-8452. Order deadline is November 24th.
ACT: Important information in regards to students taking ACT.  Make sure when you are filing on line or filling out the packet, request your score be sent to your high school.  Southeast Polk's code is 163850. This allows your scores to be sent to the school and your scores will then appear on your transcript. Not entering this code, along with college codes for the test scores to be sent, will cost $9.00 a piece. 

In addition, those signing up for the June 12, 2010, test date here at Southeast Polk.  Please note the test code center has been changed to 260690. It is listed incorrectly in the registration packet. This is due to our change of address to 7945 NE University, Pleasant Hill.
Yearbooks: 2009 yearbooks have arrived! Graduates from '09 may pick theirs up at the high school counseling center.
Facilities Rental: The facilities of the Southeast Polk Community School District are for the primary use of students for curricular and extracurricular activities. The school board believes school facilities should be available for the community when such use does not conflict with school activities or maintenance projects. Representatives of groups interested in renting school facilities are required to make arrangements. CLICK HERE for more information on renting one of our facilities.
Student Assistance Program: The Employee and Student Assistance Program offered by Iowa Health Des Moines is confidential and provides caring help for students experiencing personal and/or family problems.
