Post Prom Information |
|
to provide a night of well-supervised, safe, alcohol-free and drug-free activities and entertainment for all Southeast Polk juniors, seniors and their dates after Prom.
There are many unhealthy and unsafe activities available for teenagers. The goal of Southeast Polk Post Prom Committee is to provide fun and safe alternatives for that evening. This goal has been accomplished through constant fund-raising, creative parents and a very dedicated volunteer committee.
Ways to get involved:
- Attend committee meetings and participate with help and/or suggestions. Sophomore parents are encouraged to join in so they can get a feel for what this great event involves for their future junior and senior students.
- Help on sub-committees (food, decorations, entertainment, etc.)
Help with fund-raising efforts (we need many volunteers to successfully staff our fund raising activities throughout the year)
- Help with Post Prom set-up and clean-up (a great way to be involved if your teenager doesn’t want you at Post Prom)
- Staff a position during Post Prom (filled by those who actively support the committee by volunteering their time and/or financially supporting Post Prom)
- Financial support – suggested amount $25 per student
Your donation will be used to help provide our students with a safe, fun, memorable Post Prom experience. The evening includes inflatables, a hypnotist, great prizes, food, games and more!!
